Returns Policy


We’re confident that you’ll be very happy with our products and we are always here to help on the odd occasion when our customers need some extra support.

Whatever issue you are having, please do get in contact with us first as most of the time, there is a very simple and quick fix we can advise to get you up and printing in no time. Our returns policy covers goods up to 180 days from dispatch. Any items outside of this period will not be covered and no action can be taken on them.

We would be unable to offer any action for items returned without RMA.


Faulty Replacement Cartridges

After initial contact with 999inks, if your cartridge(s) are deemed to be faulty and within the returns period, we will raise an RMA number that is specific to your order and send you a Freepost returns label. As soon as we receive your returns, we will be able to start the process for either your replacement, credit or refund.


Faulty Original/OEM cartridges

As Original or OEM cartridges are manufactured by a separate company, (HP, Epson, Brother etc.) it is often easier to arrange replacements directly with them. However, if you would like, you can get in contact with us and if your cartridge(s) are deemed to be faulty and within the returns period, we will raise an RMA number that is specific to your order and send you a Freepost returns label. As soon as we receive your returns, we will be able to start the process for either your replacement, credit or refund.


Returns of non-faulty cartridges

If you wish to return a non-faulty cartridge as it is no longer of use, i.e. your printer has broken etc., you simply need to get in contact with us via phone, email or LiveChat and we will be able to raise the correct RMA number for your order. If your cartridges are unopened, boxed and within the returns period, you can choose to return the cartridges to us for either a credit note against future orders or a refund. Please note that requested returns after the 14 days from shipping point will incur a 20% restocking fee.

In this instance, the buyer will need to pay for the return shipping.

 
Wrong items ordered

If you feel you have ordered an incorrect item, please get in contact with us first, either via phone, email or LiveChat as it may be the case the correct items have been shipped and we can confirm this for you. If it is confirmed the incorrect items have been ordered and they are sealed, boxed and within the returns period, you can choose to return the cartridges to us for either a credit note against future orders or a refund. Please note that requested returns after the 14 days from shipping point will incur a 20% restocking fee.
 
In this instance, the buyer will need to pay for the return shipping.


Wrong items shipped

If you feel you have received an incorrect item, please get in contact with us first, either via phone, email or LiveChat as it may be the case the correct items have been shipped and we can confirm this for you. If it is confirmed the incorrect items have been dispatched, an RMA will be raised and a freepost address for the returns will be sent. The correct items will be shipped as replacements once the incorrect order is received by 999inks.
 

Damaged in transit

If you receive an order that you feel has been damaged in transit, please get in contact with us first, either via phone, email or LiveChat as it may be the case there is a simple fix for the apparent damage. If your cartridge(s) are deemed to be damaged and within the returns period, we will raise an RMA number that is specific to your order and send you a freepost returns label. As soon as we receive your returns, we will be able to send out your replacement.

 
Lost orders or incorrect addresses

If you have not received your order and feel it may have been lost in post, please get in contact with us either via phone, email or LiveChat and we will be able to confirm if and when your order was dispatched and also provide tracking details if available. If your order was dispatched via Royal Mail 2nd class (the standard shipping option) we will be unable to take any action until after 14 working days due to Royal Mail policy. Other delivery methods will have a rather turnaround time.


Refunds & Credit

If you are sending your order back to us for a refund, please allow up to 30 days from the date of receipt for the amount to be processed back into your original payment account. 

If you are sending your order back for credit, please allow 2 – 3 days from the date of receipt for the amount to be added to your online 999inks account.


Unauthorised Returns

Any returns received either without an RMA or not within the outlined policies will be held for a 14 days and if no contact is made with the customer to advise what action is to be taken with them, the items will be destroyed.

If the returns are not covered by the outlined policies and the customer wishes to have the goods returned to them, the customer will need to pay the appropriate postage fees.
